…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM FRIDAY TO 4 PM PST SATURDAY… WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches in the valleys. Above 3000 feet snow accumulations 6 to 15 inches. Wind gusts as high as 40 mph Saturday. WHERE…North Idaho Panhandle, Coeur d’Alene area, Washington and Idaho Palouse, Spokane area, Northeast Washington, Okanogan Highlands and the Camas Prairie. WHEN…From 4 AM Friday to 4 PM PST Saturday. IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday morning and evening commutes. Saturday there could be patchy blowing snow across areas south and west of Spokane and portions of the Palouse. ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Light snow is expected into Friday morning, which will result in slick driving conditions. Snow intensity will likely increase Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.
