Idaho State Police are investigating a seven-vehicle collision that occurred at 6:46 am on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at eastbound Interstate 84 at milepost 39, the Robinson Road overpass in Canyon County.
The following vehicles and drivers were involved in a chain reaction collision during morning commute:
A 2020 Peterbilt tractor and trailer driven by a 57-year-old male of Meridian, ID.
A 2004 Saturn Vue driven by a 47-year-old male of Nampa, ID.
A 2005 GMC pickup driven by a 62-year-old male of Nampa, ID.
A 2017 Honda Accord driven by a 36-year-old male of Nampa, ID.
A 2000 Toyota Echo driven by a 31-year-old male of Nampa, ID.
A 2013 Infiniti FX37 driven by a 27-year-old male of Nampa, ID.
A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 19-year-old male of Nampa, ID.
All occupants were wearing seat belts and one occupant was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The left two lanes of eastbound Interstate 84 were blocked for approximately two hours. The right two lanes of eastbound Interstate 84 were blocked for an additional hour.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
