State Board Members to Attend University of Idaho Vigils in Moscow and Boise

State Board of Education President Kurt Liebich, Board Vice-President Dr. Linda Clark and Board Member Cally Roach will represent the Board of Regents of the University of Idaho at vigils planned tonight in remembrance of four U of I students murdered near campus just over two weeks ago.

Mr. Liebich, Dr. Clark, and Board Executive Director Matt Freeman will attend the vigil at the University of Idaho campus in Moscow. Ms. Roach will take part in the vigil at the University of Idaho Water Center in Boise.

Both vigils start tonight at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

  • Moscow – The vigil will be held at the ASUI Kibbie Activity Center
  • Boise – The vigil will happen in front of the University of Idaho Water Center at the corner of Front Street and S. Broadway Ave

The University of Idaho has requested that those who are unable to attend the vigils to light a candle, turn on stadium lights or join with the Vandal Family in a moment of silence for the students, starting at 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
