Last Night’s Structure Fire 1412 Burrell Avenue

lewiston, ID- At approximately 20:52, Lewiston Fire units were dispatched to a structure fire at 1412 Burrell Avenue.

First arriving units reported heavy fire involvement to approximately 75% of the structure. Crews attacked the fire with 2 -1 ¾”and 1- 2 1/2” lines. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes, crews remained on scene for overhaul of the structure. An exposure structure to the west had fire to the exterior resulting in failure of 2 windows causing smoke damage within the residence.


The cause is undetermined at this time and there were no civilian or firefighter injuries. Damage to 1412 Burrell Ave is estimated at $275,000.00 and damage to 1410 Burrell Ave estimated at $30,000.00


Lewiston Fire responded with 3 engines, 2 medic units, 2 fire inspector and 2 command vehicles and 17 firefighters. Wheatland Fire, Clearwater Paper Fire, Avista, LOID and LPD also assisted at the scene.
