Tevez Clinches Victory for LC State Men

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Daniel Tevez clinched a victory for the Lewis-Clark State Men’s Tennis team to end the road trip with a 4-3 victory against Tennessee Southern on Saturday. He won his deciding match in three sets with an exciting comeback victory.
The win snapped a five-match losing streak and improved the Warrior record to 10-11 on the season.
Rafael Bonnet de Larbogne bounced back from a first set loss to defeat Felip Dias in No. 2 singles 4-6, 6-1, 6-1. Tevez also came back from a loss in the opening set to take a 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Rage Matuck in No. 5 singles.
Itaru Kikuchi won in No. 1 singles over Shizaya Kubo 6-4, 6-1. Gustavo Santos took the No. 6 singles match against Tristen Kelley 6-3, 6-3.
Bonnet de Larbogne and Austin Swing teamed up for a No. 2 doubles win against Dias and Matuck 6-4.
