Two Felony Arrests in Idaho County Over the Weekend

This past weekend, the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office made two separate felony arrests one for possession of methamphetamine and one for possession of a stolen vehicle.

On October 28, 2022, Idaho County deputies were on patrol in the Grangeville area.
They stopped a vehicle for a routine traffic stop. Idaho County K9 Mic performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted on the vehicle.

William Teal, age 70, of Clarkston, Washington was arrested for felony possession of
methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving without privileges, misdemeanor contempt of court, and misdemeanor failure to provide proof of insurance.


On October 29, 2022, Idaho County deputies responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Stites Road.

Investigation into the crash revealed that one of the people involved in the crash was a 14-year-old runaway from Payette County. It was also determined that the vehicle involved in the crash had been stolen from Payette County.

Liliana Thomas, age 18, of Kalispell, Montana, was arrested for felony possession of a stolen vehicle, misdemeanor providing false information to a police officer, and misdemeanor providing shelter to a runaway.
