(Lewiston, ID) On Monday morning, a 2001 Ford Focus was traveling northbound when the driver swerved and collided with a 2021 Chevy Silverado. The Focus then drove off the shoulder of the highway and down the embankment.
The driver of the Ford Focus was a 40 year old Lewiston man. According to the official press release, the driver was not wearing his seat belt and sustained numerous injuries. He was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Silverado was a 65 year old Lewiston man. He sustained no injuries in the accident and stayed on scene to cooperate with officers.
The Latah County Sheriff’s Office has not released the name of those involved in the accident.
