Two Men Arrested After Police Find Nearly 500 Fentanyl Pills, Paraphenial, and Cash During Traffic Stop

LEWISTON – Officers with the Lewiston Police Department conducted a traffic stop around 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, in North Lewiston. According to the official press release, the driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old Jesse J. Brebner, of Spokane, was arrested for providing a false name. He also had a Washington warrant for his arrest stemming from assault and delivery of controlled substances charges. 

A search of his vehicle was conducted with the assistance of Lewiston Quad City Drug Task Force Detectives. The report went on to state that approximately 500 fentanyl pills were located along with methamphetamine, marijuana, and $3,186. Detectives also located a scale and drug packaging material. 

The passenger, 40-year-old Charles Reed Walters, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and methamphetamine. Both individuals were booked into the Nez Perce County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
