Warrior Tennis Players Play Cumberland- See Results

Warrior Women’s Tennis Conquers Cumberland

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Lewis-Clark State Women’s Tennis team snapped its losing streak with a 5-2 victory over Cumberland (Tenn.) on Friday.
The win improved the Warrior record to 4-17 on the season.
Beatriz Lambru earned a No. 1 singles win against Maria Jose Arbelaez 6-2, 6-4. Heidi Moyo took No. 3 singles against Valentina Mendez 6-3, 6-4. Lambru and Moyo teamed up in No. 1 doubles in a 6-2 win, but Cumberland took the doubles point winning the other two matchups.
Rayana Shah won her second singles contest of the road trip with a 6-3, 6-4 victory in No. 2 singles
Marina Perez was victorious for the third consecutive match with a win in No. 4 singles against Kaede Hatano 6-4, 7-5. Gwyn Heim won in No. 6 singles 6-4, 6-3.

LC State Men’s Tennis Falls to Cumberland

LEBANON, Tenn. – Nell Rollin and Alvaro Camino earned victories for Lewis-Clark State Men’s Tennis in a 5-2 loss to No. 12 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Friday.
Rollin dropped only one game in the opening set en route to a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Dan Slapnik Trost in No. 4 singles. Camino needed a tiebreaker in the first set of his No. 6 singles match with Jackson Vaughan, but earned the win 7-6 (6), 6-3.
Austin Swing battled in a three-set match in No. 3 singles, but Julian Parada took the 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 win.
Cumberland earned the doubles point as it swept all three matches. Rafael Bonnet de Larborgne and Swing played in the closest contest with a 6-4 loss in No. 3 doubles.
The loss dropped the Warrior record to 9-11 with a fifth straight loss.
