LEWISTON – First-year head coach Caelyn Orlandi and LC State Women’s Basketball announced the 2023-24 schedule on Friday. The Warrior women will face a strong group of Frontier teams in the non-conference schedule before diving into a talented Cascade Conference slate.

“We are looking forward to competing this season,” Orlandi said. “When you have four Frontier Conference schools on the schedule, you can count on having tough and competitive games. The Frontier Conference is filled with fantastic coaches and we know we will be competing against well-coached teams.”

After a season-opening contest with NCAA Division III Whitman, LC State will host the Twin Rivers PT Classic on Nov. 10-11. Montana Western and Montana Tech will be in town for the tournament. The Warriors will then head to Helena, Mont. to take on rival Carroll College and Providence to close out the non-conference portion of the schedule.

“Carroll always draws a fantastic crowd and being able to play in that environment will be a great experience for our team. Carroll and Montana Western both competed extremely well at the national tournament and are returning great rosters. Tech and Providence have added some vital key components to their teams that will make them excellent and tough competition this season.”

The Warriors start CCC play against Northwest at home on Nov. 30. LC will take on Eastern Oregon on the road in a rematch of last season’s conference tournament title game on Jan. 5 and will host the Mountaineers on Feb. 3. The in-state rivalry comes to the P1FCU Activity Center on Feb. 2 with College of Idaho, and the Warriors will go head-to-head with a talented Southern Oregon team in Lewiston on Jan. 13.

“The Cascade Conference continues to get better every season. This season every team has added great recruits and it will be tough competition every time we compete. We look forward to every game we have on the schedule and I know the team can’t wait to put on those jerseys and play.”

Season passes and single-game tickets will go on sale in October on lcwarriors.com/tickets.
