Women’s Tennis Rolls Past Whitworth

LEWISTON – The Lewis-Clark State Women’s Tennis team got back to its winning ways with a 6-1 victory over NCAA Division III opponent Whitworth at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday.
The victory improved the Warriors record to 2-3 on the young season.
Lina Boylan earned her second No. 1 singles victory in two days with a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Gracie Smyley. Rayana Shah took home a win in straight sets in No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-3.
Marina Perez swept her opening set en route to a No. 3 singles win. Carisa Liebenberg only dropped two games in her No. 4 singles victory.
April Buckingham and Heidi Moyo teamed up to take the No. 1 doubles win over Clara Todd and Smyley 6-3. Anne Mathema and Bonolo Molefe were winners in No. 2 doubles 6-3.
