KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Warrior Volleyball added to its accolades this season with four Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes, announced by the NAIA national office on Tuesday. One senior, one junior and two sophomores earned the honor for the 2023 season.
To be named a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or better. Students must have attended their current institution for at least one year.
“Having four Warriors named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete is a testament to each individual’s work ethic in the classroom and the tremendous support by faculty here at LC State,” Head Coach Katie Palmer said. “They should be very proud of themselves for such an accomplishment.”
Hallie Seaman led the group with her third Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honor, while Kenzie Dean, Juliauna Forgach Aguilar and Esther Kailiponi each earned the award for the first time.
