Attorney General’s Office Releases Statement Following Shooting Death of Ada County Sheriff Deputy

BOISE – On Sunday, April 21, 2024, Idaho Attorney General, Raul Labrador, released a statement regarding the fatal shooting of Ada County Sheriff Deputy, Tobin Bolter.

From the Attorney General’s Office:

“Our hearts are broken for Deputy Tobin Bolter, his family, and his colleagues at the Ada County Sheriff’s Office and the Meridian Police Department.  Every day, brave men and women put on the badge and uniform and step into the streets to keep us safe, willing to lay down their lives. Deputy Bolter gave every last full measure in the protection of his community. We cannot adequately express both the sorrow and the gratitude for Deputy Bolter’s sacrifice, and for law enforcement in our communities who now grieve this terrible loss.”
