On February 24, 2024, at approximately 9:08 PM, Idaho County Dispatch received a report of a vehicle trying to run another vehicle off the road in the area of Woodland Road outside of Kamiah, Idaho. Idaho County Deputies responded and were unable to locate the vehicle.
Around 10:33 PM, an Idaho County Deputy spotted the suspect vehicle from the prior call traveling West on Woodland Road. The Deputy observed several traffic violations and performed a routine traffic stop on the vehicle.
Other deputies arrived on scene and K9 Millie and her handler performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle K9 Millie had a positive alert on the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, methamphetamine was located.
Marvin Mendenhall, age 66, of Kamiah, Idaho was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
