Orofino man dies in plan crash while guiding fishing expedition, community raises $100k through GoFundMe

Orofino, ID- Shane Reynolds, a father and husband from Orofino, died Friday in a plane crash in Western Alaska on his way to guide a fishing expedition. Shane was born and raised in Idaho, and realized his dream of operating his own outdoor tour company “Northwest Fishing Expeditions.” He leaves behind a wife and young daughter who thankfully are getting a lot of support from the community. A GoFundMe honoring Shane’s memory and helping his family through this difficult time has raised more than $114,000.
