On February 25, 2024, at approximately 10:30 PM, an Idaho County Deputy was on routine patrol driving eastbound on Highway 12 near mile post 72, when he stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.
A check of the driver was performed and K9 Millie and her handler performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle. K9 Millie had a positive alert on the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, methamphetamine was located.
Sasha Soderstrom, age 32, of Anaconda, Montana, was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia.
