LCSC Athletics
July 23, 2024

(LEWISTON, ID) – The 2024 LC State Volleyball scheduled was released on Monday. Warrior Volleyball will host a non-conference tournament after starting the season against top NAIA team in Nebraska. Second-year head coach Katie Palmer is looking forward to the challenge with a revamped roster.

2024 season passes are on sale now at lcwarriors.com/tickets.

The 2024 season begins on Aug. 15 in Omaha, Neb., when the Warriors take on No. 16 College of Saint Mary (Neb.). LC State will also face No. 4 Concordia (Neb.) and Hastings (Neb.) on the trip before returning home to host the Hells Canyon Grand Invitational. Pacific Union (Calif.), Walla Walla (Wash.) and Carroll College (Mont.) will take part in the four-team tournament. The match with WWU will be the first Cascade Conference match of the season and will also be part of LC State’s non-conference tournament.

“The Hells Canyon Grand Invitational is a great opportunity for our fans to get to watch this hungry LC State roster compete against three great opponents including long-time rival Carroll College.” Palmer said. “We set up our non-conference weekends to allow us to find out who we are early so we can make adjustments to play our best volleyball in November.”

The Warriors face Walla Walla for the second time on Aug. 29 on the road to kick off a five-match road swing. LC will take on Northwest (Wash.), Evergreen State (Wash.), Warner Pacific (Ore.) and Multnomah (Ore.) before hosting Oregon Tech and No. 12 Southern Oregon Sept. 20-21.

“It is a very exciting time for LC State Volleyball and the Cascade Collegiate Conference,” Palmer said. “Our CCC schedule will be one of the most challenging in the country with every program returning key players, including our very own roster.”

LC State will host four straight matches to open October with contests against College of Idaho, No. 3 Eastern Oregon, Evergreen State and Northwest. The Oct. 11 match against Evergreen will wrap up LC State’s Homecoming festivities.

After a trip south to SOU and OIT, LC will host Multnomah and Warner Pacific Oct. 25-26. The regular season wraps up in November. The Warriors will travel to EOU and C of I before closing the CCC slate out Nov. 8-9 against Bushnell (Ore.) and No. 7 Corban (Ore.).

The postseason is set to kick off on Nov. 12 with the CCC tournament running through Nov. 16. The NAIA Opening Round is scheduled for Nov. 23 with the final-site portion of the national tournament set for Dec. 4-10 in Sioux City, Iowa.

Season passes for the 2024 campaign go on sale July 17 at lcwarriors.com/tickets. All home matches will be streamed on lcwarriors.com/watch with passes available for purchase the week of Aug. 19.
