LEWISTON – LC State Men’s Tennis closed out the spring break week with a 5-2 victory over NCAA Division III Pacific on Sunday. The Warriors earned the doubles point before taking four of six singles matches.
Malte Sommer and Juan Pablo Naranjo won in both doubles and singles action. The duo teamed up for a 7-6 (7-5) victory in No. 2 doubles. Sommer won 6-2, 6-1 in No. 2 singles and Naranjo earned a 7-6 (6-3), 6-2 win at No. 4 singles.
Matus Rusnak and Pavle Markus teamed up for a 6-3 win in the top doubles spot. Rusnak went on to win his No. 1 singles match by a score of 6-2, 6-3. Joel Barba earned a win at No. 6 singles (4-6, 6-2 (10-4)).
