Clarkston, WA – The Lower Granite Natural Resource Management Office will be closing the Nisqually John Landing Recreation Area from noon March 17 to noon March 24 for hazard tree and invasive vegetation removal.
Crews will be removing invasive Himalayan blackberry brambles and two trees from the recreation area. The area will be temporarily closed to ensure the safety of work crews and visitors during tree removal operations. Visitors should stay clear of work areas during tree removal.
Visitors are encouraged to use Blyton Landing or Wawawai Landing recreation areas during this closure.
