Women’s Tennis Victorious in Weekend Finale

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Lewis-Clark State Women’s Tennis team made it back-to-back victories to close out the road trip with a 5-2 win over Tennessee Southern on Saturday.
The win improved the Warrior record to 5-17 on the season.
Marina Perez won her fourth consecutive match with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Emely Castro in No. 3 singles. Paige Noble-Lucas earned a win in No. 3 singles against Sienna Roberto 6-2, 6-0.
Gwyn Heim took the No. 5 singles match in straight sets against Yen-Ju Chang 6-3, 6-1. Anne Mathema won in No. 6 singles and Heidi Moyo was a set ahead when her opponent retired due to an injury in No. 2 singles.
Beatriz Lambru and Moyo did not drop a game in No. 1 doubles against Sienna Roberto and Victoria Sanchez.
